Today is a beautiful day but I cannot see it…

Today is a beautiful day but I cannot see it…

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: "I am blind, please help." There were only a few coins in the hat. A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words. Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, "Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?" The man said, "I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way." I wrote: "Today is a beautiful day but I cannot see it." Both signs told people that the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign told people that they were so lucky that they were not blind. Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective? Moral of the Story: Be thankful for what you have.. Be creative. Be innovative. Think differently and positively. When life gives you a 100 reasons to cry, show life that you have 1000 reasons to smile. Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear. Keep the faith and drop the fear. The most beautiful thing is to see a person smiling… And even more beautiful is knowing that you are the reason behind it!!! After reading this email you really felt touched and you liked the story, I suggest you share it. Remember, this email could change someone’s life. Enjoy your day with a heart of gratitude.
GOD BLESS YOU!

The Lesson of Prayer!

Matthew 6:10
"Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it
 is in heaven."
 The Lesson of Prayer!

Some time ago I was invited to speak at a college in another state,
and my schedule was such that I could not come. When they offered
to send a private plane, I agreed. As we flew over Arkansas, the
pilot asked me if I wanted to try my hands at flying the plane. I
said, "Yes." Of course, he was sitting right next to me. He could
fly it without me, but I couldn't fly it without him. He had his
hands on the controls with me. He allowed me to participate with
him. That's the way prayer is. God can do it without you, but God
enables you to have fellowship with Him and teaches you a
 dependency upon Him.
 1 Chronicles 16:23-26 (KJV), Sing unto the LORD, all the earth;
shew forth from day to day his salvation. Declare his glory
among the heathen; his marvelous works among all nations.  For
great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be
feared above all gods. For all the gods of the people are idols:
but the LORD made the heavens.

A Cloud of Witnesses

A Cloud of Witnesses

A Cloud of Witnesses
Hebrews 12:1 tells us that the world is encircled by a cloud of witnesses
who are with Christ in glory. What does this multitude of heavenly
witnesses have to say to the present world? We live in a generation that
is far more wicked than Noah’s. What can these witnesses say to a human
race whose sins exceed even that of Sodom?
Our day is one of great prosperity. Our economy has been blessed, yet our
society has become so immoral, violent and anti-God that even secularists
bemoan how far we have fallen. Christians everywhere wonder why God has
delayed his judgments on such a wicked society.
We who love Christ may not understand why such gross evil is allowed to
continue. But the cloud of heavenly witnesses understands. They don’t
question the mercy and patience that God has shown.
The Apostle Paul is among that cloud of witnesses, and he bears witness to
God’s unlimited love for even “the chiefest of sinners.” Paul’s life and
writings tell us that he cursed the name of Christ. He was a terrorist,
hunting down God’s people and dragging them off to be jailed or killed.
Paul would say to us that God is being patient with this present
generation because there are many who are like he was, people who sin in
 ignorance.
The apostle Peter is also among the cloud of witnesses, and he too
understands why God is so patient. Peter’s life and writings remind us
that he cursed Jesus, swearing he never knew him. God withholds his
judgment because there are multitudes still who curse and deny him, just
as Peter did. The Lord won’t give up on them, just as he never gave up on
Peter. There are many like him whom Christ still prays for.
As I consider this cloud of witnesses, I see the faces of former drug
addicts and alcoholics, former prostitutes and homosexuals, former
gangsters and pushers, former murders and wife-beaters, former infidels
and pornography addicts—multitudes whom society had given up on. They all
repented and died in the arms of Jesus, and now they are witnesses to the
mercy and patience of a loving Father.
I believe all of these would say, in one unified witness, that Jesus
didn’t judge them before they received his mercy. God still loves this
mad, immoral world. May he help us to love the lost as he does. And may we
pray to have the love and patience he is showing the world right now.

Have a Blessed Day in Christ.

HAVE A BLESSED DAY IN CHRIST.

I just prayed this prayer today and it has made my day!
I pray that it will be a blessing to you too.
HAVE A BLESSED DAY IN CHRIST.

A Morning Prayer of Victory!
Father, I thank you for this wonderful day that you have made for me to rejoice and to be glad in it.

Forgetting That Which is Behind
I appreciate that this is a brand new day. What happened yesterday, I cannot change what has already happened. As such, I decide to forget what has already happened, just as you have said in Isaiah 43:18 that: “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old” Thank you father that all that happened to me yesterday, all that is behind me and all that will happen today is all working together for my good !

Choosing To Trust your Word Instead of My FeelingsHow I feel this morning is not important, for feelings change and I don’t walk by them nor by sight but by faith! I don’t believe in my feelings but in your word for if I believe what I feel instead of your word, my walk with you will be as inconsistent as my feelings.

Acknowledging your lordship Over My LifeThis day I acknowledge you as the lord and Savior of my life. I acknowledge that without you I can do nothing. I choose to trust in you with all my heart and not to lean on my own understanding. In everything that I will be doing today. I acknowledge you and I pray lord that you direct all my paths. Lord give me wisdom to be able to handle situations that might arise today.

Bringing Thoughts, imaginations to CaptivityFather, I know that I have an adversary, Satan, and that he is very real. The bible says he walks about like a roaring lion. Seeking whom he may devour. I know that his primary weapon is the lie and that my defense against him is the truth, which is your word.
He will attempt to use my mind in order to serve his purposes. He will attempt to fill me with negative thoughts so that I can feel condemned, guilty, unworthy, lonely, unloved and discouraged. He will attempt to lie to me about myself, my friends, my brethren, my pastor, my colleagues and my family. That I know very well.
As such, I cast down, in advance arguments and every high thing that may exalt itself against the knowledge of God and I bring every thought, imagination into captivity to the obedience of Christ. I command my mind to mediate only on things that are true, noble, just, pure, lovely and of good report.

Casting My Cares To HimFather I realise that I have to choose whether I spend this day rejoicing in you or entertaining anxiety and worry. I realise further that I won’t cease to be anxious unless I deliberately cast  my cares, my burdens to you. I understand lord that as long as I am still in this world, there will always be something to worry about for you have tribulations and then you said I must cheer up for you have overcome the world!

As such, I refuse to be anxious about anything. I choose to cheer up. I refuse to worry about my problems  (which will not profit me anything) and I choose to put my faith in you Lord.

Growing In Grace
It is your desire Lord that I should live a fruitful life that will demonstrate Christian Virtues. In line with 2 Peter 1: 3 – 10, I choose, giving all diligence, to add to my faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self control, to self control perseverance. To perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. For if these things are mine and abound, I will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of you my lord.
As I begin this day, I undertake to be more diligent in making my call and election sure!

funny example how Satan behaves

funny example how Satan behaves

This email was forwarded by sreekanth a friend of mine

Just notice how Satan behaves -
1 day Satan took a honey drop n applied it over a white wall.
a small ant came 2 taste.
to kill this ant a lizard came.
soon a rat came 2 catch this lizard.
to kill this rat came a cat.
to kill this cat its enemy, a dog came 4m outside.
dog n cat in d chase broke-up all d valuable items in d house.

by listening 2 this noise, d house-owner came n saw all this non-sense.
cat noticed him earlier n escaped.
then he started beating d dog.. the dog's owner came.
and finally these two people started fighting.
soon, it became a big issue.

now coming 2 d point.
God watched d scene n called Satan 2 answer regarding this.
then Satan started saying -
"why r u interrogating me like a criminal?
i did nothing. its just my small wish to apply since a longtime.
its my honey n my wall.
is it that i told them 2 fight?
its their mistake n u r blaming me 4 this?
u always misunderstands me.
don't blame me d next time 4 such matters" n went.

-------------------------------------------------------------
this is just a funny example..
see...how Satan creates huge problems in our life just like these, by doing something very silly.
n it escapes from the scene.. it is that we'll and we've 2 face.
we've 2 be very careful.

Are You a Romans 8:14 Christian?

Are You a Romans 8:14 Christian?

Are You a Romans 8:14 Christian?

For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by
the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live,
because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. - Romans
8:13-14
Joshua and Caleb are described in Scripture as men who had a different
spirit. They were two of the 12 spies sent into the Promised Land to
determine if it could be taken, as God had promised it to them. The other
ten gave a bad report that instilled fear in the people, which ultimately
caused a rebellion. This resulted in an entire generation dying in the
desert. Joshua and Caleb were the only two who were led by the Spirit of
God, versus the spirit of fear. They were the only ones to enter the
Promised Land from their generation.
Are you a person led by the Spirit? The verse above tells us that those
who are led by the Spirit are sons of God. "But because My servant Caleb
has a different spirit and follows Me wholeheartedly, I will bring him
into the land he went to, and his descendants will inherit it" (Num.
14:24). Caleb was a Romans 8:14 man! The Spirit led him. He was not led by
fear.
Many of us have failed to enter into our own Promised Land because we have
failed to be led by the Spirit rather than by fear. Fear prevents us from
entering into what God has promised for each of us. God has reserved an
inheritance for us that is exceedingly good. God described the Promised
Land as a land of milk and honey. Our own Promised Land is the same. But
you must be led by the Spirit to enter in. You cannot be led by fear,
reason and analysis, or even skill. The Spirit must lead you.
Commit yourself to being a Romans 8:14 man or woman. Then you will enter
into the land God has promised for you.

God's beautiful message to women..

God's beautiful message to women

When I created the heavens and the earth, I spoke them into being. When I created man, I formed him and breathed life into his nostrils. But you, woman, I fashioned after I breathed the breath of life into man because your nostrils are too delicate. I allowed a deep sleep to come over him so I could patiently and perfectly fashion you.

Man was put to sleep so that he could not interfere with the creativity. From one bone I fashioned you. I chose the bone that protects man's life. I chose the rib, which protects his heart and lungs and supports him, as you are meant to do.

Around this one bone I shaped you. I modeled you. I created you perfectly and beautifully. Your characteristics are as the rib, strong yet delicate and fragile. You provide protection for the most delicate organ in man, his heart. His heart is the center of his being; his lungs hold the breath of life. The rib cage will allow itself to be broken before it will allow damage to the heart.

Support man as the rib cage supports the body. You were not taken from his feet, to be under him, nor were you taken from his head, to be above him. You were taken from his side, to stand beside him and be held close to his side. You are my perfect angel. You are my beautiful little girl. You have grown to be a splendid woman of excellence, and my eyes fill when I see the virtue in your heart. Your eyes -- don't change them. Your lips -- how lovely when they part in prayer. Your nose so perfect in form, your hands so gentle to touch.

I've caressed your face in your deepest sleep; I've held your heart close to mine. Of all that lives and breathes, you are the most like me.

Adam walked with me in the cool of the day and yet he was lonely. He could not see me or touch me. He could only feel me. So everything I wanted Adam to share and experience with me, I fashioned in you: my holiness, my strength, my purity, my love, my protection and support.

You are special because you are the extension of me. Man represents my image -- woman, my emotions. Together, you represent the totality of God.

So man -- "treat woman well. Love her, respect her, for she is fragile". In hurting her, you hurt me. What you do to her, you do to me. In crushing her, you only damage your own heart, the heart of your Father and the heart of her Father. Woman, support man. In humility, show him the power of emotion I have given you. In gentle quietness show your strength. In love, show him that you are the rib that protects his inner self.

Meaning of Psalms 23

Meaning of Psalms 23

A Sunday School teacher asked her children if anyone could quote the entire 23rd Psalm. A golden-haired, four-and-a-half-year-old girl was among those who raised their hands. A bit skeptical, the teacher asked if she could really quote the entire psalm. The little girl came to the front of the room, faced the class, made a perky little bow, and said, "The Lord is my shepherd, that's all I want" She bowed again and went and sat down. That may well be the greatest interpretation of the 23rd Psalm ever heard. King David, himself a former shepherd, begins this Psalm with, "The Lord is my shepherd," immediately putting himself as a sheep in the care of Jesus Christ (who is the same being as the Lord of the Old Testament-see John 1:1-3, 14 and Heb. 1:2). This analogy of Christ as a shepherd and His chosen ones as sheep, is reinforced in several scriptures, especially in John 10, John 21:15-17 and Hebrews 13:20. The shepherd is the provider and protector of his flock. The sheep are helpless without him. Similarly, human existence is but a sinful, carnal experience without God in our lives (John 5:30; Rom. 8:6-11). Continuing with, "I shall not want," David indicates here that as a sheep in Christ's care, he was confident that he would lack nothing. This sentiment is repeated in Psalms 34:9-10, and clearly indicates David's understanding in regards to putting God and God's way first in his life (see Matthew 6:25-34). He goes on to write, "He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters." Both the "green pastures" and "still waters" indicate a blessed abundance, further illustrating the benefits of a God-led life. Friends that little girl's words are true, "The Lord is my shepherd, that's all I want............"

Praying for People!

                                     Praying for People!

A hospital chaplain visited a delightful old lady in the hospital. As he approached her bed he noticed that with the index finger of one hand she was touching, one by one, the fingers of the other, with her eyes closed. When the chaplain spoke to her she opened her eyes and said, "Ah, minister, I was just saying my prayers--- the prayers my grandmother taught me many years ago."

The chaplain looked puzzled, so she went on to explain, "I hold my hand like this, my thumb towards me. That reminds me to pray for those nearest to me. Then, there is my pointing finger, so I pray for those who point the way to others---teacher, leaders, parents. The next finger is the biggest so I pray for those in high places. After that comes the weakest finger---look it won't stand up by itself, so I pray for the sick and the lonely and the afraid. And this little one---well, last of all I pray for myself."

Faith to Move Mountains

Faith to Move Mountains................

A small congregation in the foothills of the Great Smokeys built a new sanctuary on a piece of land willed to them by a church member. Ten days before the new church was to open, the local building inspector informed the pastor that the parking lot was inadequate for the size of the building. Until the church doubled the size of the parking lot, they would not be able to use the new sanctuary. Unfortunately, the church with its undersized parking lot had used every inch of their land except for the mountain against which it had been built. In order to build more parking spaces, they would have to move the mountain out of the back yard. Undaunted, the pastor announced the next Sunday morning that he would meet that evening with all members who had "mountain moving faith." They would hold a prayer session asking God to remove the mountain from the back yard and to somehow provide enough money to have it paved and painted before the scheduled opening dedication service the following week. At the appointed time, 24 of the congregation's 300 members assembled for prayer. They prayed for nearly three hours. At ten o'clock the pastor said the final "Amen". "We'll open next Sunday as scheduled," he assured everyone. "God has never let us down before, and I believe He will be faithful this time too." The next morning as he was working in his study there came a loud knock at his door. When he called "come in", a rough looking construction foreman appeared, removing his hard hat as he entered. "Excuse me, Reverend. I'm from Acme Construction Company over in the next county. We're building a huge new shopping mall over there and we need some fill dirt. Would you be willing to sell us a chunk of that mountain behind the church? We'll pay you for the dirt we remove and pave all the exposed area free of charge, if we can have it right away. We can't do anything else until we get the dirt in and allow it to settle properly." The little church was dedicated the next Sunday as originally planned and there were far more members with "mountain moving faith" on opening Sunday than there had been the previous week!

Directions to the Father's House!

Follow These Directions To His House. They Couldn't Be Better!

Make a right turn onto "Believers Boulevard" keep straight and go on through the light (its always green).

From there, you must turn onto the "Bridge of Faith," which is over troubled water.
When you get off the bridge make that right turn and keep straight. You are now on the "King's Highway" keep going, you'll pass three markers, one is for the Father, one is for the Son and one is for the Holy Spirit.

Exit off onto "Grace Boulevard" make a right turn onto "Fellowship Lane" keep straight until you get to "Prayer Boulevard," make another right turn, as you go on your way.

Yield not to the traffic on "Temptation Avenue" don't take that shortcut down "Sin Street" because it is a dead end! Bypass "Envy
Drive" "Backbiting Boulevard" and "Have Avenue." You'll only waste precioius time.

Don't get lost on "Hypocrisy Street" or "Abuse Avenue" that's a bad neighborhood. But most likely you will have to travel "Long-suffering Lane," "Persecution Plaza" and Trials and Tribulations Road," they are available, but stay on couse, because VICTORY BOULEVARD is straight ahead.

Watering down God's wrath dilutes God's love.

Watering down God's wrath dilutes God's love.

In an effort to make the Gospel more seeker-friendly, some Christians avoid talking about God's wrath, anger, and hatred toward those who have sinned against him. By watering down the wrath of God such people cheapen and diminish the love of God.

Such a faith void of God's wrath was characterized in the early 1900s by a movement called Protestant Liberalism. In 1937, H. Richard Niebuhr, professor at Yale Divinity School, gave this description of Protestant Liberalism's theology: "A God without wrath brought men without sin into a kingdom without judgment through a Christ without a cross."

As Niebuhr pungently demonstrated, eliminating God's wrath minimizes the cross, which is the ultimate manifestation of God's love (see Romans 5:6-8).

Because God is holy, perfect, and sinless, he deserves all glory, honor, fame, praise, and exaltation. However, when we sin—and every one of us sins—we insult God's holiness. Sin is fundamentally an offense against God, and so he hates sin and punishes all who sin against him (see Psalm 78:19-21, John 3:36, Psalm 5:5, Isaiah 13:11, Psalm 7:11).

The Apostle Paul, in Romans 1:18-19, describes the ubiquity of God's wrath: "The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of human beings who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them" (see also Romans 1:18-31).

So, if we all are godless and wicked, deserving of God's wrath, how can he accept us? Does God say, "Well, at least you're making progress"? Does he grade on the curve: "You're better than average, so I guess I'll give you a passing grade"? No. God can't forgive like that because his holiness and justice demand that perfect satisfaction for sin be made.

Instead, what God does is this: He sends his son, Jesus Christ, to bear all our sins so that our sin is paid for by Christ. What an amazing act that the very one who you hated, scorned, reviled, and scoffed at is the same one who took upon himself the death penalty you deserved, and because all your sins are placed on him God declares you righteous.

That's good news!

hide

Anything you have to hide to do is probably something you shouldn't be doing at all.

It can be difficult to find people of integrity, because so many people make mediocre compromises. At work, such people take every shortcut possible in order to finish the task as quickly as possible, even though they do a terrible job in the process. At school, mediocre people copy homework from friends and copy essays from the Internet just in order to avoid work while hoping to get a good grade, even though they're cheating and don't learn the material.

Unfortunately, many of the people who lack integrity are Christians. Yet, this is clearly not how God wants us to live. He desires that we be people of integrity.

Integrity means doing what is right when no one is looking, and it means going the extra mile, knowing that God sees everything and that what he sees in secret he will reward in the open (Matthew 6:4,6,18). Jesus told his disciples, "What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs" (Luke 12:3).

Whatever you do now, even if it is hidden from others, will be brought out into the open and made public. If you are wondering whether or not to do something, consider whether or not you'd be willing to do it in front of your boss, your teacher, your parents, or your pastor. If you have to hide what you're doing to feel comfortable, then there's a good chance you shouldn't be doing it at all.

The child of a King!

The child of a King!

During the days of the French Revolution that saw King Louis XVI and his queen beheaded, history records an amazing event. After the public execution, the frenzied mob called for the dauphin: "Bring out the prince," they cried. "He's next." The lad was terrified. The prince was only six years old, but he was in line to become the next king, so he, too, had to be eliminated.

According to the storytellers, the young prince stood on the platform trembling in his black velvet coat and patent leather shoes. Long golden curls tumbled down over his shoulders. The mob cried, "Down with royalty! Eliminate all royalty! Off with his head! Kill the prince!"

Suddenly from out of the crowd came another cry: "Don't kill him. You'll only send his soul to heaven. That's too good for royalty. I say, turn him over to Meg, the old witch. She'll teach him to steal, to lie, he'll roam the streets as a tramp, and when he dies, his soul will go to hell. That's what royalty deserves!"

So the story goes, that's the advice the mob took. They turned the lad over to old Meg. This vile woman of the back alleys began to teach him bad words. But history tells us that every time this wicked woman prompted the prince to be profane, he would stubbornly stamp his little feet, clench his fist and declare, "I will not say it. I will not say those words. I WAS BORN TO BE A KING, AND I WON'T TALK THAT WAY!"

Who are You? Are you a child of the king? Are you living that way?

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: - 1 Peter 2:9

Don't Be Afraid

Don't Be Afraid

Here we are, afraid of losing what we have all the time, holding on to it so tight that not a soul can touch it. We think by hiding it from the world, it's hidden and it's ours. Nothing is. Nothing ever will be. For, nothing ever was, everything was in His hands Who created this universe. If you think there is anything that you have, is blessing from God, be it money, a house, a job. Here we are, so insecure that we are afraid of re-starting our lives, so we just carry on trying to sort out the current mess. The thought that we should give it all up and just start all over - with nothing - might cross our minds some time, sure, but we get scared and we push away anything that scares us. There is nothing I can ever achieve or gain that I cannot lose, in a matter of seconds. You have never gained enough to not be able to lose it all, in just a few minutes. What you think is yours, was never yours and will never be yours. Whatever you make here, you leave here. You came naked and you're going to go back naked. So what are you afraid of? In God's eyes, Love is never absent. In Gods heart forgiveness is never impossible. In Gods embrace, no one is ever alone or forgotten.

Thank You Lord!!!

This is one of the simplest and most meaningful praise choruses
that I have ever known.  I learned it in my childhood and have
loved it since then.  I've heard it in two different versions so
I'm repeating them both and adding a final line of my own.

                        Thank You Lord!!!

Thank you Lord for saving my soul,
Thank you Lord for making me whole,
Thank you Lord for giving to me,
Thy great salvation so full and free.

Thank you Lord for saving my soul,
Thank you Lord for making me whole,
Thank you Lord for giving to me,
Thy great salvation so rich and free.

Thy great salvation so full and free.
Thy great salvation so rich and free.
Thy great salvation, Gods most wonderful gift to me.
